Corey Haim is being remembered today by his longtime friend Corey Feldman. The two have acted in eight movies together over the years, including 1988’s License to Drive.

Feldman posted the following message on his blog:

“I was awakened at 8:30 this morning by my brother and sister knocking on my bedroom door. They informed me of the loss of my brother Corey Haim. My eyes weren’t even open all the way when the tears started streaming down my face. I am so sorry for Corey, his mother Judy, his family, my family, all of our fans, and of course my son who I will have to find a way to explain this to when he gets home from school. This is a tragic loss of a wonderful, beautiful, tormented soul, who will always be my brother, family, and best friend. We must all take this as a lesson in how we treat the people we share this world with while they are still here to make a difference. Please respect our families as we struggle and grieve through this difficult time. I hope the art Corey has left behind will be remembered as the passion of that for which he truly lived.”

Corey Feldman will be a guest tonight on CNN’s Larry King Live.

Sony Computer Entertainment America has issued an update on the recent PlayStation 3 errors via the PlayStation.Blog. Since when it comes to matters such as these, their words are better than ours, well give you the words directly from their mouths.

As you may be aware, some customers have been unable to connect to the PlayStation Network today. This problem affects the models other than the new slim PS3.

We believe we have identified that this problem is being caused by a bug in the clock functionality incorporated in the system.

Errors include:

The date of the PS3 system may be re-set to Jan 1, 2000.

When the user tries to sign in to the PlayStation Network, the following message appears on the screen; An error has occurred. You have been signed out of PlayStation Network (8001050F).

When the user tries to launch a game, the following error message appears on the screen and the trophy data may disappear; Failed to install trophies. Please exit your game.

When the user tries to set the time and date of the system via the Internet, the following message appears on the screen; The current date and time could not be obtained. (8001050F)Users are not able to play back certain rental video downloaded from the PlayStation Store before the expiration date.

We hope to resolve this problem within the next 24 hours. In the meantime, if you have a model other than the new slim PS3, we advise that you do not use your PS3 system, as doing so may result in errors in some functionality, such as recording obtained trophies, and not being able to restore certain data.

As mentioned above, please be advised that the new slim PS3 is not affected with this error. We are doing our best to resolve the issue and do apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Marie Osmonds teenaged son, Michael Blosil, was found dead on the ground below an apartment balcony last light in Los Angeles, ABC reports.

My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time, ABC quoted the entertainer as saying.

Blosil has struggled with depression in the past, people.com reported today.

A Los Angeles police spokesman said a suicide occurred Friday night in the area between 9 and 10 p.m., but the victims name and details had not been released.
